RAG & BONE is coming to London Fashion Week. The duo behind the brand, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, will present their spring/summer 2013 collection to the city's press and buyers at the brand's new Sloane Square store this September.
"We are thrilled to finally open a store in London," Neville said in a statement today. "It's exciting to present a collection for the first time in our home town and for it to take place in our own store feels really special. Showing during LFW will further strengthen our presence in Europe and, of course, it's lovely to be able to filter it directly to customers in the UK who have supported Rag & Bone since the beginning."
The New York-based label - known for its casual-cool aesthetic and star-studded DIY advertising campaigns - will still show on the New York catwalk as usual on September 7 - and the London presentation will be an additional showcase to celebrate the new store opening.
"Rag & Bone's presentation is a fantastic addition to the London Fashion Week schedule," Caroline Rush, chief executive of the BFC, added. "It will be a great opportunity for our guests to view their full collection and celebrate the launch of their first UK store."
The presentation is scheduled to take place at Rag & Bone, 13/14 Sloane Square, on Saturday September 16 at 4pm. By invitation only.
