London Countdown

OH London, how we've missed you. Fashion Week kicks off in the capital tomorrow and, we can confidently say without a hint of bias, it's shaping up to rival NY for innovation; Milan for glamour; and Paris for big names.

Tomorrow sees Antoni & Alison get the Week underway, instead of the usual first show, Paul Costelloe - because the Irish designer has decided not to show this season. Then, following LFW's official launch at Somerset House, the day is packed with names to watch: from past Fashion Fringe names Corrie Nielsen and Jena.Theo, to the latest winner Fyodor Golan. The Central Saint Martins MA show rounds off the day, where, as always, we'll be on the lookout for the next Christopher Kane.

The weekend is packed with big names - from Stella McCartney's London return and Moschino Cheap & Chic's London debut on Saturday, to Mulberry's always-celebrity-packed show on Sunday - whilst some of LFW's most enticing shows also pop up over the weekend: Jonathan Saunders, Louise Gray, Marios Schwab, Clements Ribeiro, House of Holland, and JW Anderson. We may also have our first chance of a front row sighting of the Duchess of Cambridge this weekend, with two of her favourite labels, Temperley and Issa, showing back-to-back on Saturday night.
Monday, traditionally the week's biggest day, doesn't disappoint: hosting Peter Pilotto; Antonio Berardi, Christopher Kane, Erdem, Burberry Prorsum, Giles, Osman - and the debut of the Alexander McQueen diffusion line, McQ.

Tuesday rounds out the womenswear action with shows from Mary Katrantzou, Roksanda Ilincic, Holly Fulton, Meadham Kirchhoff and David Koma - before all eyes move to a packed menswear day, including E Tautz, MAN and James Long.
You needn't despair if you won't be in the tent for the week's biggest shows - you can watch all the action on the British Vogue Facebook page, where we'll be live-streaming not only every single show from the Topshop Venue - but also the biggest and most star-studded show of the week, Burberry.
