JEWELLER Diane Kordas has designed two bracelets and a necklace to coincide with a one-off night of theatre starring Thandie Newton, Rosario Dawson, Meera Syal and Trudie Styler and written by The Vagina Monologues author Eve Ensler, who will also perform.
The simple string bracelets each feature a gold or silver diamond-encrusted Venus symbol charm, whilst the chain necklace features a pendant of the same design. All proceeds will go to charity Women for Women International, as well as the V-Day and Domestic Violence Intervention Project to aid women and girls affected by war, rape and violence.
The jewellery collection coincides with the theatre production of A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer, a new collection of monologues from Ensler. The performance will take place at the Lyric Theatre on March 26, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the same three charities.
