ONE of London Fashion Week's best kept secrets, the Designer Jumble Sale, takes place tomorrow - and if you're fast you could bag a catwalk purchase for less than a high street one.
Highlights include: Versus by Christopher Kane boots, worth £690, priced at £155; a Phillip Lim blue pussy-bow blouse, worth £300, for just £60; a Ralph Lauren red cashmere jacket, still on sale for £1200, priced at £200; and a Marc Jacobs pink tweed jacket for £50.
"London Fashion Week and the whole fashion industry is amazingly supportive; and the generosity of our donors helps us give our customers even better bargains to beat the wintery weather, like a pair of knee-high boots and an amazing Ashley Isham tweed coat going for £89," the sale's organiser, and former VOGUE.COM editor, Abi Chisman told us. "But my favourites this season are the rare items like a skeleton-print Tshirt from Luella's 2003 collaboration with surfwear label Voodoo Dolls, £12; and a Seventies Yves Saint Laurent mac for just £89. Bring on spring!"
