Karlie's Back!

Updated Wednesday February 29, 8.39am: Karlie Kloss returned to the catwalk last night for Anthony Vaccarello, opening the young designer's show. The model, who skipped Milan and New York Fashion Weeks because of a rumoured "big opportunity", walked for Vaccarello last season too - and will now likely appear in all her regular Paris shows, including Christian Dior, Lanvin and Jean Paul Gaultier.

The model Tweeted yesterday, "Shoutout to all my #pfw ladies," which included make-up artist Pat McGrath, and models Jourdan Dunn, Toni Garrn, Anja Rubik, Frida Gustavsson and Joan Smalls - who replied: "Nice to have you back! Lovely seeing you today backstage."

Updated Tuesday February 28, 10.42am: Karlie Kloss is set to make her first catwalk appearance of the season during Paris Fashion Week. Kloss Tweeted a picture taken from a car window at 1.41am this morning which said, "What a beautiful night in Paris," before her friend and fellow model Jourdan Dunn confirmed this morning that they would take to the catwalk together in the coming days.
"There's 3 things I'm looking forward to in Paris," Dunn Tweeted this morning. "1. I'm gonna be reunited with Karlie! 2. Me and Cara in the same hotel. 3. The Kanye West after-party."

Kloss is usually a regular on both the New York and Milan catwalks, for designers including Marc Jacobs and Dolce & Gabbana, but missed both weeks this season for a rumoured "big opportunity". Ten seasons in as a model, she'd generally be considered too experienced to be booked as an exclusive - usually the preserve of younger models who forsake all other shows to appear in just one - but a Tweet by Kloss on February 9 hinted that something dramatic was afoot.
"Today was a game changer ;)" she said. "#LovingLife."

Updated Friday February 10, 9.24am: Karlie Kloss won't be taking to the New York Fashion Week catwalk this season. Despite having been spotted in the Big Apple earlier this week - attending President Obama's Runway to Win benefit with fellow model Chanel Iman - she has reportedly "cancelled all [New York] catwalk appearances for a big opportunity," the Daily Beast claims.

Ten seasons in, and at just 19 years old, her career has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months. Kloss appeared in more than 60 shows last season, secured her eighth international Vogue cover, and became a Victoria's Secret Angel in the first year that she appeared on the brand's catwalk.
Kloss herself as not yet confirmed her absence from the NYFW catwalk.
