Like supermodel mother, like daughter

Cindy Crawford's long-limbed daughter is picked to be the face of the inaugural Young Versace campaign

There is something strikingly familiar about 10-year-old Kaia Gerber, the classic beauty fronting the first Young Versace campaign launching this spring. With her all-American model looks, flowing brunette locks and high cheekbones it is unsurprising to learnt that Kaia is, in fact, following in her mother's footsteps as she is the daughter of one of the original 'supermodels'; Cindy Crawford.

Cindy Crawford was herself a muse of Gianni Versace, so it seems fitting that her daughter follows in her footsteps - albeit seven years ahead of her mother, who wasn't discovered until she was 17. The model mother was on set with Kaia at the shoot. “Watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience,” she said. “I am so proud of her.”
