Jenny Packham to launch debut collection for Debenhams

Jenny Packham, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite designers is to create an affordable capsule collection for high street retailer Debenhams.

She's conquered both royalty and Hollywood with her heavily embellished gowns, and now Jenny Packham has her sights set on the great British high street.

The north London-based designer, who shows her collections during New York Fashion Week, is joining the likes of Roksanda Ilincic, Jonathan Saunders and Preen in creating a purse-friendly capsule collection for retailer Debenhams.

A hit with the brigade of A-list Kates - both Beckinsale and Winslet have taken to the carpet wearing Jenny Packham over the past fortnight - the designer's most famous customer has to be the most ubiquitous Kate of all: the Duchess of Cambridge.
The Duchess has championed Packham's feminine designs on several high-profile occasions recently, choosing show-stopping gowns for charity events in London, and more daytime-friendly dresses while on her state visit to North America.

Packham, who is also feted for her luxurious bridalwear, will launch a range of occasionwear and jewellery for Debenhams in the spring. Stay tuned for a first look of what will undoubtedly be the most covetable designer collaboration of the year so far.
